HEAT-TREATED TITANIUM ADVANTAGE

Unlike conventional annealed titanium spindles, our 6Al-4V titanium spindles undergo STA heat treatment, achieving approximately 170,000 PSI tensile strength and 42 HRC hardness.

• Approximately 35% higher tensile strength than typical annealed 6Al-4V titanium.
• Approximately 8% greater calculated bending and torsional yield capacity compared with a conventional 19mm OD, 4mm-wall annealed 6Al-4V spindle, despite our lighter 3mm-wall design.
• 31% lighter finished 19mm spindle, delivering significant weight savings while maintaining excellent calculated shaft strength.
