BLACK ICE ALUMINUM PEGS

Each peg is precision CNC machined from premium 7075-T651 aluminum, providing significantly greater strength than standard 6061 aluminum while keeping weight to a minimum.

To maximize durability and reduce friction, every peg receives a PTFE (Teflon) impregnated Type III hardcoat anodized finish. This coating reaches approximately 70 Rockwell C hardness, creating an extremely wear-resistant surface that delivers smoother, faster grinds and significantly improved abrasion resistance over conventional anodizing.

The interior features a precision taper-bored design that removes unnecessary material while maintaining strength where it's needed most. Wall thickness is reduced to 0.095" at the tip and increased to 0.125" at the base, optimizing the balance between lightweight performance and impact resistance.
